The Alden B. Dow Home and Studio opens students’ minds to the innovative ideas of Alden B. Dow. This dynamic environment engages students as they tour and participate in activities. These have included developing a sketch of the residence out on the terrace, examining original architectural drawings in the Archives or watching original Alden Dow movies in his theater.

The Home and Studio continues to develop unique individualized programs that meet the objectives for education, such as our new International Baccalaureate Spanish language program. Our goal is to provide engaging, thought provoking and educational experiences that meet the needs of educators, their curricular objectives, and ultimately the students they serve.

Teacher and Classroom Guidelines: Please read and review these guideslines with the teachers and students who will be attending.
Photo Release Form: We would appreciate permission to take photos of your students during the tour. Please download the photo release form and ask the parents or guardians of each student to complete it. Please bring those signed forms with you on the tour.
