If you want to visit the Alden B. Dow Home & Studio Archives to conduct research, we are happy to help you plan your visit. The archives is located in the original children's Playroom of the Alden B. Dow Residence. In the Archives, we have thousands of files and documents that you can review.

Open by appointment during our regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (If you need to visit the archives on Saturdays or in the evenings for research, educational programs or class study, please call our staff at 989.839.7446 or 866.315.7678.)

Research Services

If you need extensive research conducted by the staff of the Alden B. Dow Archives, a research fee of $25.00 per hour will be charged. The minimum charge is one hour. If research charges will apply, an estimate will be given in advance.
