What is an Archives?
An archives is a repository of documents, records or materials, much like a
library. However, archives material usually relates to one specific topic
and archival material cannot leave the repository. The Alden B. Dow Archives
documents Alden B. Dow's work as an architect, his civic activities and his
philosophies on creativity.
