All camps, weather permitting, include canoeing around the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio and access to special areas of the site not included on regular tours. All camps are independent curriculum, meaning campers do not need to attend one camp as a prerequistite to attend the others, and may attend both in their grade category.

Architecture I
4th-6th grade
Session I June 25-28 Session II July 16-19
During their week, campers will design and build their own miniature tree house, explore the Home and Studio, and learn more about Alden Dow and his architectural work. Time and weather permitting, a field trip to the Dow Gardens or a home or structure designed by Alden B. Dow in Midland will be part of their adventure.

Architecture II
4th-6th grade
Session I July 9-12 Session II July 30 – August 2
During their week, campers will design and build their own miniature home or structure, and create their own town as a group. Time and weather permitting, a field trip to the Dow Gardens or a home or structure designed by Alden B. Dow in Midland will be part of their adventure.

Design I
7th-9th grade
August 6-9
During their week, campers will design and build a diorama or miniature room, complete with their own handmade furniture, work on a project in copper, and create their own Jackson Pollock inspired painting.

Design II
7th-9th grade
August 13-16
During their week, campers will design and create their own Cornell shadow boxes, build a Louise Nevelson inspired sculpture, and work with partners on large scale design projects.
