March 15, 2020 — Developing Communities
Whether it was an educational, cultural, experimental or an entire city, Alden B. Dow developed many communities through his own style of architecture. In most cases these films start at the beginning, a piece of land or a blank canvas, then gradually you will see it turn into a thriving community. From the 1940s with the design of Lake Jackson, Texas to the 1960s with the design of Muskegon Community College and Interlochen Arts Academy, Alden B. Dow documented the development process from start to finish. Come and enjoy the journey.
